GBSA Membership Categories
Full Members have unlimited opportunity to participate in GBSA committees, national chapters and working groups, have access to GBSA resources, including information, documentation and discounts, have full voting rights, are eligible to serve on the GBSA Regional Board, have first opportunity for speaking engagements and interaction with official bodies. Full members are recognized on the Association website. Full members are international and regional banks and investment banking firms, ratings agencies and other firms wishing to participate fully in GBSA and its initiatives.
Associate Members have opportunity to participate in committees, national chapters and working groups and have access to GBSA resources, including information, documentation and discounts and are eligible for speaking opportunities. Associate Members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to serve on GBSA’s Regional Board. Associate members are recognized on the Association website. Associate members are service providers with an interest in the Middle East debt capital market and international banks present in the region only with a representative office.
Affiliate Members can participate in committees, national chapters and working groups, have access to GBSA resources including information, documentation and discounts and are eligible for speaking opportunities. Affiliate Members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to serve on GBSA’s Regional Board. Affiliate Members are recognized on the Association website. Affiliate Members are buy-side firms, which may include asset managers, insurance companies and pension funds, including asset management subsidiaries of bank members. Affiliate members may also be service providers operating within a single jurisdiction.
Issuer Members can participate in committees, national chapters and working groups, have access to GBSA resources including information, documentation and discounts and are eligible for speaking opportunities. Issuer Members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to serve on GBSA’s Regional Board. Affiliate Members are recognized on the Association website. Issuer Members are prominent non-financial institution issuers.
